Men’s Shed Funding Program

Applications are now closed for the 2024-25 Men’s Shed Funding Program

The Men’s Shed Funding Program supports the construction and refurbishment of men’s sheds, which are important places for men to make social connections and actively participate in their local communities.

The program aims to increase the number of men getting involved and the variety of activities provided by men’s sheds.

Victorian men’s shed groups can apply for grant of up to $100,000 for:

• the construction of new men’s sheds, including converting an existing building into a men’s shed
• the refurbishment, extension or upgrade of existing men’s sheds
• the purchase of major shed equipment for use in men’s sheds, eligible for the first time in the 2024-25 funding round.

Applications from First Nations-led and multicultural groups are strongly encouraged.

Applications closed at 11.59 pm on 16 October 2024.

This grant round is part of the Victorian Government’s Men’s Shed Funding Program. Every year, $1 million is invested into supporting Victorian men’s sheds.

Victorian Men's Shed Association

The Victorian Government provides funding to the Victorian Men's Shed Association to provide leadership and capacity-building for Men's Sheds across Victoria.
