Operating a supported residential service

SRS proprietors are legally required to protect the safety and well-being of residents. They must also support residents to live as independently as possible and to be part of decisions about the services that they receive.

Supported Residential Services (SRS) proprietors must be familiar with the legislation governing SRS and the role of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing in administering the legislation.

SRS proprietors should be familiar with and make use of our resources and videos.
